Guy Morrison & Smith Ltd was formed in 1948 as a case-making and export packing service, primarily serving the electrical industry, but also packing fine arts and antique furniture. Based in Southwark, the docks were nearby and major clients were Morphy Richards and Russell Hobbs for whom we packed and dispatched their product worldwide.
London’s docks were a major world import/export hub and as the area evolved, so did our business. In the early 1960’s the company became Guy Morrison Ltd and new opportunities were realized in the form of dispatching point of sale material and advertising materials.
In 1968 the company changed its name again to become Robert Guy Services Ltd and became fully involved in the promotions business, offering all aspects of marketing fulfiment.
